NZ Wool Combo Duvet 200gsm & 300gsm - Single, King Single
Single and King Single
100% NZ wool duvet inners - 1x 200gsm and 1 x 300gsm
Proudly made in New Zealand by Moemoe using a unique quilting process that brings out all the natural benefits of the New Zealand wool. The wool that Moemoe uses is not compressed when sewn, so it retains its natural resilience, 'bounce' and thermal properties, giving a nice even heat.
These combo duvets offer great flexibility for comfort all year round. Use the 200gsm for Summer, the 300gsm for Spring/Autumn then combine the two to create a cosy, warm 500gsm winter weight. Another option is to use this duvet set for two beds.
NZ Wool is naturally:
- Hypoallergenic,
- Resistant to dust mites, mould and mildew
- Breathable
- Warm in winter, cool in summer.
- The manufacturers recommend dry cleaning wool duvets to avoid any possibility of shrinkage.
5 year guarantee.

Care Instructions
Hand wash using a gentle wool detergent, line dry or dry flat. Do not tumble dry. Alternatively you can dry clean wool duvets. I recommend that (at least) once a quarter, you should air your duvet in the sunshine to help reduce the level of allergen.

Why a wool duvet inner?
Warmer & More Comfortable – Light-weight and naturally moisture absorbent, with inherent thermal qualities this duvet inner will help to regulate your body temperature naturally so you sleep better every night. Wool never feels clammy like synthetic or feather products and, being a purely natural fibre it’s also naturally flame-resistant.
Naturally hypoallergenic – this duvet is made with materials which are naturally resistant to dust mites, mould and mildew so will protect you and your loved ones naturally without the need for any toxic chemicals being added to the product.
Are wool duvets better than synthetic duvets?
Wool has numerous unique properties which make it the ideal natural fibre for peaceful sleep.
It’s breathable so it regulates body temperature and provides thermal insulation when needed. Wool provides the healthiest, driest, healthiest and most comfortable sleep. Synthetic duvet inners made from polyester or nylon, whilst cheaper, will have lower ‘breathability’, be less fire retardant and are less able to regulate your body temperature.
Is a wool duvet inner itchy?
‘Prickly wool’ fibres are greater than 35 microns in diameter (such as the wool found in furnishings, carpets or cheaper imported clothing). The soft wool fibre in this duvet inner (finer than 35 microns) will not push through the finely woven cotton envelope and you will not be itchy, even if you have a sensitive skin.
